KNOW INDIA PROGRAMME (KIP) - 90th EDITION
Upcoming 90th edition of the Know India Programme (KIP) for Young Professionals (24-28 years of age), scheduled to be held in India from 18th October to 31st October 2026.
Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India invites applications for the upcoming 90th edition of the Know India Programme (KIP) for Young Professionals in the age group of 24-28 years. The Programme, scheduled to be organised in India from 18-31 October, 2026, would be open for youth of Indian origin, including Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), as well as for Non-Resident Indians (NRIs).
KIP is a flagship initiative of the Ministry of External Affairs aimed at strengthening engagement and connecting the young members of the Indian diaspora with their ancestral roots while providing them an opportunity to experience and appreciate contemporary India's remarkable growth and development across diverse sectors as the country progresses towards Viksit Bharat @2047. The Programme seeks to acquaint participants with India's rich cultural heritage, economic transformation, innovations and start-up ecosystem, scientific and technological advancements, and other significant facets of contemporary India. The Programme also aims to motivate and inspire young members of the Indian diaspora to contribute to and participate in India's developmental journey. Since its inception in 2003–04, the Ministry has successfully organized 88 editions of the Programme with the participation of 3,178 young members of the Indian diaspora (the 89th edition of the KIP is in progress).
Interested individuals may submit a scanned copy of the duly completed Application Form along with the required documents to the Consulate General of India, San Francisco by email at pic.sf@mea.gov.in by 28 September 2026.
