Before a packed audience, he noted that #India is entering a decisive phase of growth, with around 6.5% sustained expansion and nearly 90% economic growth over the past decade, supported by rising incomes, strong macroeconomic fundamentals, and $1T+ in cumulative FDI inflows. As the world’s fastest-growing large economy with GDP at $4T+, India’s startup ecosystem is now the world’s third largest, with 120+ unicorns, alongside continued reforms improving ease of doing business.
Guided by Amrit Kaal Vision 2047, India is investing in next-generation infrastructure, digital public goods, and frontier sectors like semiconductors, green hydrogen, and AI, supported by the world’s largest and youngest workforce, he stated. Globally, India is deepening trade integration and advancing its net-zero 2070 commitment, with initiatives like the India AI Mission reflecting its technology ambitions.
Crucially, the India-U.S. partnership, he emphasized, will be a cornerstone of this journey, with a shared target of $500B in bilateral trade by 2030 and deepening collaboration across technology, healthcare, energy, defense, and advanced manufacturing.
