On May 14, Consul General Dr. K Srikar Reddy delivered Guest of Honor remarks at the premiere of the IIT Madras Global Startup initiative held at the Leavey School of Business, Santa Clara University, drawing attention to the deepening India-U.S. partnership in education, innovation, and technology. In his remarks, he spoke of India's rapid economic rise, its world-class startup ecosystem, and a shared vision for what India and the U.S. can build together while framing the bilateral partnership as one of the most consequential of our time. Chennai and Silicon Valley, he noted, are no longer worlds apart. And events like this are exactly where that future takes shape. The event brought together innovators, investors, and business leaders, including James M. Glaser, Provost, Santa Clara University; Thirumalai Madhavnarayan, CEO, IITM Global; Naren Agrawal, Dean, Leavey School of Business; Naren Nayak, President, IIT Madras Alumni Association; Vish Arunachalam, founder, Castartups; and Gabriela Zelaya, Acting Director for Northern California, U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration.
