  • Turmeric – Lakadong, Meghalaya.  Consul General Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad joined the launch of Turmeric neutraceuticals  A collaboration between Lakadong Turmeric of Meghalaya and Mt. Meru Medicines in California by Hon. Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and Hon. Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on 16th December 2020. The Lakadong turmeric, which contains almost triple the curcumin content as compared to turmeric from other regions found to be promising. Mt. Meru Medicines received FDA approval for their neutraceuticals.
