KNOW INDIA PROGRAMME (KIP) - 88th EDITION

Applications are now open for the 88th edition of the Know India Programme (KIP). The Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, invites young members of the Indian diaspora to participate in this flagship programme, which aims to strengthen their connection with India. The programme offers participants an opportunity to experience India’s rich heritage, economic growth, innovation ecosystem, scientific advancements, and development journey towards Viksit Bharat @2047.

Since its inception in 2003–04, the Ministry has successfully organized 87 editions of KIP, with the participation of 3,153 young members of the Indian diaspora.

Programme Details

Programme Dates: 16–29 August 2026
Eligibility: Indian diaspora youth aged 24–28 years (young professionals)
Open to: Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), and Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)
Application Deadline: 16 July 2026

Interested individuals may submit a scanned copy of the duly completed Application Form along with the required documents to the Consulate General of India, San Francisco by email at pic.sf@mea.gov.in by 16 July 2026. Please find attached the application form and guidelines for your reference.
