  Consul General Dr. K. Srikar Reddy was honored to attend the special Diwali event hosted by Hon’ble Governor Spencer Cox and the First Lady Abby Palmer Cox at their Mansion. The Diwali celebration was attended by prominent members of the Indian diaspora and local dignitaries.   On October 11, 2025, the Consul General attended the Dusshera Diwali Dhamaka celebrations organized by the Association of Indo Americans at the Alameda County Fairgrounds. The festive event brought together a wide array of dignitaries and community leaders, including California Attorney General Mr. Rob Bonta, Alameda County Supervisor Mr. David Haubert, and the mayors of several Bay Area cities: Mr. Jack Balch (Pleasanton), Mr. Raj Salwan (Fremont), Ms. Sherry Hu (Dublin), Mr. Mark Armstrong (San Ramon), and Ms. Carmen Montano (Milpitas). - October 20, 2025

  Consul General Dr. K. Srikar Reddy addressed the IIT Bay Area Leadership Conference 2025 at the Santa Clara Convention Centre. Elucidating the contributions of IITians in USA, he shared his insights on how IITians in USA, and Silicon Valley in particular could contribute to Indian nation building. CG also briefed the audience on the broader aspects of India- US relations and various initiatives of Government of India for Indian Diaspora including the opening up of new Consulates in Los Angeles & Boston, and nine new Indian Consular Application Centers (ICACs), including one in San Jose. - September 29, 2025

  Consul General Dr. K. Srikar Reddy virtually interacted with around 500 Indian students from 22 campuses of California State University. The interaction covered educational, student welfare and visa-related issues. CSU hosts approximately 6500 Indian student population.
