A vibrant celebration of 77th Foundation Day of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations was hosted by the Consulate General of India, San Francisco, showcasing India’s cultural diplomacy and global engagement. Consul General Dr. K Srikar Reddy addressed the gathering, highlighting ICCR’s mission of building “bridges of friendship and cultural dialogue” through India’s soft power, praised the diaspora as “cultural ambassadors,” and noted milestones such as Diwali’s recognition as a California state holiday as a testament to deepening cultural connections. Over 100 guests attended an evening of culture, community, and meaningful exchange, with reflections on ICCR’s initiatives, its role in promoting India’s rich heritage, and strengthening people-to-people ties worldwide. The celebration came alive with captivating performances by students of Nrityaarpana Dance Academy, Shivanoopuram-School of Kuchipudi and Shambhavi’s International School of Kathak.
