Consul General Dr K Srikar Reddy visited Honolulu, Hawaii, as part of a small delegation from the San Francisco Consular Corps from 21 to 23 January 2026. During the visit, he witnessed the opening of the 2026 legislative session and met with Governor Josh Green, Honolulu Mayor Rick Blangiardi, President and CEO of the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii Ms Sherry Menor-McNamara, and legislators. He also paid his respects at the Mahatma Gandhi Statue on Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, alongside members of the Gandhi International Institute for Peace in Hawaii, led by Dr Raj Kumar. The visit also provided an opportunity to exchange views with various stakeholders to strengthen collaboration in tourism, trade, investment, and people-to-people ties between India and Hawaii.
