Consulate General of India - San Francisco in collaboration with the Consulate General of France in San Francisco organised a roundtable Sustainable AI. Consul General Dr. K. Srikar Reddy briefed the participants on the AI Impact Summit in India and elucidated its themes People, Planet and Progress in the wider context of Sustainability objectives. Consul General Florian Cardinaux underlined the work of Coalition for Sustainable AI in Paris, and shed light on the shared goals of Sustainability in the age of AI. Representatives of tech giants such as Nvidia, Microsoft, OpenAI, Google, Amazon, AMD, and other representatives briefed on the progress in Sustainability goals as well as new challenges with ever increasing demand for compute.
