From seasoned practitioners to first-timers, dignitaries, members of the Consular Corps, and Bay Area communities came together in a shared spirit of health and harmony, moving through asanas of the Common Yoga Protocol, followed by a peaceful meditation session.
Consul General Dr. K Srikar Reddy welcomed all participants and reflected on Yoga’s journey from ancient wisdom to a global movement embraced by millions. He highlighted this year’s theme “Yoga for Healthy Ageing,” urging all to embrace it as a path to vitality, inner balance, and enduring wellbeing at every stage of life.
Chief Guest Mr. John Y. Choi, Regional Director, Office of Foreign Missions, San Francisco, shared his perspectives on the enduring value of Yoga in fostering health, resilience, and community well-being.

Fremont Councilmember Mr. Yang Shao and Ms. Felicity Hector-Bruder, Deputy Chief of Staff, San Francisco Mayor’s Office, also addressed the gathering.
