Consul General Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad congratulated the American Indian Association (AIA) for organising Swades #AmritMahotsav in Milpitas with the elected members, community leaders and beautiful cultural performances by children. Consul General alongside with the Mayors and members hoisted the flag of India in Celebration of the 75th Independence Day and emphasized on passing on the cultural tradition to future generations. It was attended by Fremont Mayor lily Mei, Milpitas Mayor Rich Tran, Alameda Supervisor David Haubert, Assembly Member Ash Kalra, Fremont Council Member Raj Salwan, Santa Clara Vice Mayor Raj Chahal, Milptas Council Member Karina Dominguez, District Director Tom Pyke, etc.
