Consul General Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad inaugurated the ‘House of India’ at Balboa Park in San Diego, California during the #AmritMahotsav. The event was attended by California Senate President pro Tempore Ms. Toni Atkins, San Diego Mayor Mr. Todd Gloria, 78th District Assembly Member Chris Ward, Council President Mr. Stephen Whitburn, people from various and communities in San Diego. Consul General in his address thanked the city authorities for allocating space at the ‘Crown Jewel’ of San Diego for ‘House of India’. He also appreciated the enthusiasm and dedication of the team ‘House of India’ in building a permanent structure to showcase India’s rich culture and heritage with their perseverance. House of India came out very attractive and Consul General assured support in showcasing diversity and culture of India to the visitors of the park. The cultural performance by the children of the Indian Diaspora received accolades from the crowd.
