Consul General Dr. K. SrikarReddy welcomed the distinguished speakers and participants. @SomanathSpeak, presented a compelling overview of India’s space journey, including the three Chandrayaan missions, the Mars Orbiter, and the Aditya-L1. He also highlighted the close collaboration between NASA and ISRO in areas of earth observation, satellite navigation, and space exploration. The panel discussion, moderated by Prof. Solomon Darwin, Executive Director of the Center for Corporate Innovation at UC Berkeley, brings together distinguished leaders — Victoria Coleman (Associate Provost, Berkeley Space Center), Bill Diamond (President & @CEOSETI), Greg Schmidt (former Director, NASA’s Solar System Exploration Research Virtual Institute), Nasr Al-Sahhaf (Regional Secretary, International Academy of Astronautics), Michael Nicolls @michaelnicollsx (Vice President of Starlink Engineering, SpaceX), Kiruthika Devaraj (VP, Planet Labs), and Pallab Deb (Managing Director, Ecosystem Partnerships, Google). Together, this panel represented the essence of a next-generation space ecosystem—visionary, collaborative, inclusive, and purposeful—exploring how partnerships among academia, industry, and international institutions can drive innovation, foster global cooperation, and build a sustainable space future that inspires and empowers the next generation beyond Earth.
