The Consulate General of India, San Francisco in its outreach, as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav organized a Make in India event in Phoenix, Arizona on 28 March 2022. The Business community and prominent Indians participated at the event which included a cultural programme followed by a presentation by Consul General Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad on recent economic reforms and opportunities for investments in India in sectors including IT, Healthcare, Pharma, Energy and Education. He thanked the contributions of Mr. Venkat Kommineni, the Community Leader and the Indian Association of Phoenix (IAPH) for supporting this event and all the participants for gracing the occasion. Indian American International Chamber of Commerce, Arizona led by Shri Kommineni has also partnered with the event. There was keen interest in the reforms and the community was interested in giving back to their motherland, which is highly appreciated.
