A rousing welcome to Hon’ble Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sithamaran by the Indian community on West Coast at a reception hosted in her honour by the Consulate General of India – San Francisco. Her address on developments in India including Digital India, Fintech, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) education was highly appreciated. Consul General Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad in his address termed it as an honour and said the community leaders including from adjacent states across the spectrum ranging from farmers, Venture Capitalist, Tech leaders, elected representatives of Indian origin etc., were in the gathering to greet and hear Hon’ble Finance Minister
