The Bay Area Telugu Association held Ugadi Celebrations at ICC, Milpitas on 25th March 2023 with thousands participating throughout the day with song, dance and other art & cultural competitions. There were also display of handicrafts, Jewellery, Indian traditional wear, Millets etc. Several elected members from the region including Mayors and Council Members attended. Consul General Dr TV Nagendra Prasad and his spouse Smt. Padmavathi conveyed greetings on the occasion of Telugu New Year and highly appreciated BATA President Hari, Vijay Aasuri and Dr Ramesh Konda for their continued efforts to promote arts and culture from not only Telugu states and but also from other states in India through these festivals. The program concluded with dance by every one to the Oscar winning Telugu song ‘Naatu Naatu’.
