Consulate General of India San Francisco hosted a pre-event virtual session alongwith Ministry of Commerce & Industry for the upcoming Sourcing at Magic Expo to be held from August 7 to 9 in Las Vegas. Consul General Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad in his remarks highlighted the success of the last two Magic expos in Las Vegas. Mr. Santosh Sarangi, Director General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce also spoke during the session and gave an overview of the steps being taken by Government of India to increase exports from India. Ms. Ashwini Lal, Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterpries (MSME), Padmashri Dr. A. Sakthivel and Mr. HKL Magu of Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) also spoke on this occasion. Dr. Tamanna Chaturvedi of AEPC made a presentation on Indian Textiles & Garment exports alongwith the potential for increasing exports to US Market. The pre-event session was attended by a large number of participants from India and USA.
