A warm Berkeley welcome was extended to Consul General Dr. Srikar Reddy at a Welcome Reception organized by the Institute for South Asia Studies. It was a fantastic opportunity for the Berkeley community to engage with Dr. Reddy, a distinguished diplomat. Professors Munis D. Faruqui introduced CG Dr. Reddy and briefed him about UC Berkeley and their initiatives, fostering a deeper understanding and connection between the consulate and the academic community. Special thanks go to Punneta Kala for coordinating this memorable event and ensuring its success. Later, question and answer round provided an interactive platform where Consul General Dr. Reddy addressed inquiries from students on topics ranging from Indian visas to educational opportunities, enriching the dialogue and strengthening ties between the consulate and the UC Berkeley community.
