On May 6th, 2025, CGISF, in collaboration with FalconX and ICAI, hosted a pre-event roadshow for the Global Fintech Fest (GFF) 2025 at the CGISF. 6th edition of GFF with the theme “Finance for a better world- powered by AI” is scheduled to take place from October 7 - 9, 2025 in Mumbai, India.

Consul General Dr. K. Srikar Reddy welcomed the distinguished speakers: Mr. Srikanth Nadhamuni, Founding Head of Technology of Aadhaar; Mr. Ritesh Shukla, Member, Advisory Council, GFF 2025 and CEO, NPCI International Payments Ltd. (NIPL). For the panel discussion, the speakers included Mr. G. Padmanabhan, Member, GFF Advisory Council and Former Executive Director, Reserve Bank of India; Mr. Sandeep Patil, Partner, Head of Asia, QED; Mr. Rubail Birwadker, Global Head of Growth, Visa; and Mr. Vikram Venu, Director, Google Pay.

Dr. K. Srikar Reddy highlighted that fintech can significantly accelerate India's journey to a $7 trillion economy including $ 1 trillion digital economy by 2030 by driving financial inclusion, enhancing digital payment infrastructure, and enabling easier access to credit for MSMEs and underserved populations. He emphasized that by fostering innovation and efficiency across financial services, fintech also boosts productivity, investor confidence, and economic resilience.

The evening witnessed a distinguished gathering of fintech policymakers, industry pioneers, investors, and ecosystem enablers, all united by a shared vision for the future of finance. The event featured insightful keynote addresses, a high-impact panel discussion, and engaging conversations during the networking session. Discussions centred around the transformative role of AI and emerging technologies in reshaping financial systems, and how innovation, when driven by inclusion, can lay the foundation for a future-ready financial ecosystem.
