All Missions will place an endorsement on the visa sticker “Registration with FRRO is required with 14 days of arrival in India”. All Intern Visa holding Foreign Nationals must register with respective FRROs within 14 days of arrival in India, failing which action will be taken against such individuals.

Those intending to work as Interns in Restricted/Protected areas should note that their application takes longer processing time.

Under NO circumstances foreign intern will be allowed to take up employment in India immediately after completion of internship program.

The Foreign National should exit India positively before the expiry of Intern  Visa. Failure to do so may lead to action taken against the erring Foreign National as per Government of India norms.
