Millet Mahotsav in #SiliconValley with ‘Millet Man’ Padma Shri Dr. Khader Vali attracted about 300 food and health enthusiasts. The Consulate General of India, San Francisco celebrated the occasion to commemorate International Year of Millets 2023 IYM 2023. Consul General Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad in his remarks highlighted the importance given by India to millets and India’s role in designating this year as ‘IYM’ by the United Nations. He appreciated the keen interest of all the attendees on the health benefits and various groups created around millets in Bay Area giving good publicity among the Diaspora. Consul General thanked University of Silicon Andhra and Shastha Foods for joining and promoting #millets for personal health and health of climate around. The rich millet menu was appreciated by one and all.
