Consulate General of India, San Francisco in coordination with Association of Indo-Americans [@AIA_Events] celebrated the International Women's Day at the Consulate in San Francisco on March 08, 2025.

Consul General Dr. K. Srikar Reddy @srikar_koppula welcomed the participants and informed how India is witnessing a transition from Women's development to women-led development. Distinguished women across diverse fields were recognized for their remarkable achievements, inspiring us all with their outstanding contributions. The event was attended by about 170 persons, including Attorney General @AGRobBonta California State Treasurer @fionama, State Assemblywomen @AsmMiaBonta and @AsmGailPellerin, Actress Ranjita Chakravarty, @LilyMei4Fremont @ThaparAyesha, @Padmasree, @RMVishakha, members of the San Francisco Consular Corps and Indian diaspora. This year’s theme "for ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment”, calls for action that can unlock equal rights, power and opportunities for all and an inclusive future where no one is left behind.
