The Chairman and CEO of Microsoft Mr Satya Nadella was conferred ‘Padma Bhushan’ Award by the Governement of India this year. As he couldn’t travel to receive the same in person in India, which is deemed to have been presented by Hon’ble Rashtrapati ji, he accepted the award from Dr TV Nagendra Prasad, Consul General of India in San Francisco. Consul General Dr TV Nagendra Prasad and his spouse Smt. Padmavathi conveyed greetings on the occasion of Telugu New Year and highly appreciated BATA President Hari, Vijay Aasuri and Dr Ramesh Konda for their continued efforts to promote arts and culture from not only Telugu states and but also from other states in India through these festivals. Organized by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), CES is one of the most important technology shows in the world with about 4000 exhibitors in 40 product categories. Consul General, Dr.K.Srikar Reddy visited the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), Pasadena, CA, on June 27, 2024. He met with Director, Dr. Laurie Leshin and discussed the ongoing and future collaborations between ISRO and JPL, including the jointly developed NASA–ISRO synthetic aperture radar (NISAR) satellite. He also met with the NISAR mission team led by Project Scientist Paul Rosen. NISAR satellite will be launched into space by ISRO from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota this year. NISAR satellite will use advanced radar imaging to map the Earth, including changes in ice sheets and glaciers, biomass, and land around volcanoes and earthquake faults.

On February 15, 2025, Consul General Dr. K Srikar Reddy delivered a keynote at the AI summit hosted by the American Society of Engineers of Indian Origin @ASEIUSA at UCSC Silicon Valley Extension @UCSCExtension Santa Clara, California. He spoke on India's digital economy, India AI Mission, and the ongoing AI collaboration between India and the United States. The event was organized by a team led by Piyush Malik @pmalik1 , President of ASEI with a vision to drive innovation and foster collaboration in the tech community and was attended by about 150 industry leaders and tech professionals.

Srikar Reddy was honored to be present at the unveiling of Indian American Actress Mindy Kaling’s 2,800th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce [HCC] this morning in Hollywood, Los Angeles. Around100 persons, including HCC President & CEO Steve Nissen, American Actor B.J. Novak, former US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti, Avu Chockalingam (father of Mindy), and many film and TV personalities, participated in the event. Mindy Kaling, who received the star in the category of Television, is an Emmy-nominated writer, Tony Award-winning producer, New York Times best-selling author, director, and actor.
